When you think of a “Rush” two scenarios might pop-up in your head.
1. Waking up at 7: 45 a.m. and literally sprinting out the door because you know you have to be at work by 8: 00 a.m.
2. The recruitment process where sisters/brothers of a college Greek organization interact with its potential new members.
This year’s first “BLUSH RUSH” was something similar to the second Rush scenario, except a little less nerve-wracking.
Held on May 5th at the University of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Maryland, the Blush Rush enabled all of the current Blush event coordinators to get to know their future interns. The event started off with a simple introductory session followed by a plate full mouth-watering h’orderves and cupcakes. Later, Tami, the Owner & Senior Director of Events at Blush, split the group into two teams to play group-building activities such as building a wedding dresses out of tissue paper and a blaring battle of Jeopardy! The day ended with separate interviews between the Blush crew and prospective interns (and a few more cupcakes to take home).
One thing is for sure, Tami and the event coordinators at Blush made a point to make the prospective members feel welcomed, while indicating that they only want the best interns to help prepare for a great wedding season.
